Important! Book your rental car well in advance. In the Chilean summer months (high season from November to March), many car models are quickly booked.

Rates and Currency Fluctuations
The prices advertised on our website are given in USD and Euros. They serve as reference prices. Due to currency fluctuations, prices in your personal quotation can be slightly different. In addition, the rental prices are influenced by factors such as high/low season, pick-up and drop-off location, rental period, car rental company.
Offer, Availability and Booking
Our quotations are non-binding for you until you decide to accept an offer and inform us in writing of your intention to book. Therefore, our car rental quotations are not to be understood as a reservation.
Payment Methods
For booking purposes, a down payment or the full payment is due (please ask your personal contact person about the booking conditions). We can receive payments on our bank accounts in Germany, Chile and the USA. In addition, we accept payments by credit card via Paypal (service charge 5%).

Rental Requirements
Minimum Age
The minimum age to rent a car in Chile is 22 years and/or the driver must have held his driving license for at least 2 years. In exceptional cases, special tariffs can be requested for younger drivers.
Rental Period
Car-Rental-Chile requires a minimum rental period of 7 days. A day equals 24 hours. If the return day and time is exceeded, the extra costs will be charged on site. There is a grace time of 3 hours. No refunds can be given if the rental vehicle is returned early.
Driving License
To drive a rental car in Chile, the national driver’s license is sufficient for tourists.
Guarantee / Voucher
To rent a car in Chile you need an internationally valid credit card. During the rental period, your credit card will be blocked with a guarantee (the amount depends on the vehicle and rental period). If the rental car is returned properly, the blocked guarantee will be released.
