The diversity of Chile can be experienced only a few hour’s drive outside of Santiago. On our way towards the coast we had to adapt first to the driving habits of Chileans. In general, we observed that most of the Chilean drivers do not drive in the right lane and pass cars on the left like we do in Germany. Instead, they often block the passing lane and overtake cars in the right lane. We had to be aware of the pedestrians walking on the road, or cyclists that use the highway to get to a destination. What a wonderful vacation in Chile! With the help of Chile Inside, we were able to see all we planned and more. The minivan rental was roomy enough for 6 adults and all our luggage.
